@Sam vernon
Hi there,
I am trying to locate the map referenced here: http://natlib.govt.nz/records/22298718?search%5Bi%5D%5Bsubject%5D=Te+Kohanga+Mission+Station&search%5Bpath%5D=items
Do you have any pointers on where to start? I have sent a message to the national library.
Thank you
Sam

@Matt
Hi Sam,
I've no advice other than contacting the National Library as the map you reference is held in their Alexander Turnbull collection. It looks like a fragile or otherwise sensitive document as curator assistance is required for viewing. I've not had the need to view items in their physical collection so can;t offer any advice beyond that, Let us know how you get on.

@Sparkless
To Sam: Did you get anywhere ?
I've just written a book on old maps and their uses for genealogists and will be sending it out soon. ISBN 978-0-473-39059-4

@Sparkless
Hi - yes you have come to the wrong site ! Making an appointment to see the map at NatLib counter in Wellington is your only option.
